CED is a water-based primer coating used mostly in automotive paint shops. Charged paint particles move to the component (the cathode) under a direct current, so paint reaches every corner of complex shapes. Un-deposited paint is rinsed and recovered through ultra-filtration (UF), and the film becomes hard after baking.

CED Coating Plants for Uganda's Industry

CED Coating Process Sequence
The CED process on our plants follows this sequence:
